NATURAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY,
HONEST MOMENTS & ROMANTIC PORTRAITS
DEB BOOTS – SYDNEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Hi, Im Deb Boots, a Sydney wedding photographer. I document heartfelt colourful and authentic love stories for creative, fun-loving couples on that wild adventure of marrying their best friend.
Getting married is the beginning of a new chapter in your love story. A celebration of finding your forever partner. Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience. This ‘one day’ is full of emotions and moments that marks the love between you and your partner, the connections with your friends and family are equally important and a big part of your new adventure. These moments should not only be celebrated but beautifully captured in pictures.
My style is a blend of documentary wedding photography and romantic natural light portraits of the bride and groom. My approach is to capture genuine, natural moments. Defined as lifestyle wedding photography – more than just candid photos. Honest raw emotions and fleeting moments, yet done so with some direction and style – storytelling at it’s best.
I do allow time for relaxed, natural portraits of the two of you to capture your connection, along with portraits with your bridal party and family, but otherwise the portraits are kept to a minimum. I don’t do cheesy, posed or contrived photos – I’d rather let you be yourselves and enjoy your day.
I bring over 7 years of experience to the wedding day. Every wedding I photograph is different, just as every couple is different, and I love being able to document each couple’s unique story.
Being asked to join a couple to document their special day is something I take onboard with an enormous amount of responsibility but most of all excitement. My friendly approach combines wanting to capture meaningful love stories through natural wedding photography!
Along this journey, I rather think of myself as the couple’s friend, who happens to carry a big camera or two. I am genuinely invested in my couples having an awesome experience. Im there to capture an honest reflection of your wedding day, with emotive, romantic and creative images. Along with all the pretty details, good times, right through to the crazy moves on the dance floor!
I’m available for wedding photography in Sydney and the entire East Coast of Australia, having shot a lot of weddings in Brisbane and South East Queensland to Byron Bay in Northern NSW. As a Sydney based photographer, I am also available for weddings in the surrounding areas – Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, NSW South Coast, Kangaroo Valley, Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Country NSW.

Kind words from my lovely couples
“Deb’s beautiful photos speak for themselves in their jaw-dropping, moody, heartfelt beauty (even knowing this I still cried with joyful shock when I saw the slideshow of our stunning photos, and again when I looked through the full album), and yet her service is so much more than her spectacular images. I obviously can’t say enough about how much we love our wedding photos, but I think it’s so important that people know how wonderful Deb is to work with. She invited us into her home to meet and discuss ideas, she sent through timelines and suggestions for the day, she found locations that represented what we wanted in our photos, and she was a stealthy ninja-photographer on the day, capturing moments so fleeting and special without us even realising she had. The surprises continued when we got the gorgeous, wooden keepsake box with our USB full of photos! Deb, thank you so much for your hard work, your talent, your enthusiasm, your willingness to try something a little different, and most of all for the memories-turned-art you gave us. Two months on, we look at our photos every day, and we will enjoy your work for the rest of our lives. xx” – Ashley & Rohan
“We were all smitten with you Deb. Anyone who views our wedding photos always comments on how beautiful they are.
And any of my friends getting married get the same word of advice from me – Don’t put a budget on your photographer!
Your photos let you relive the day over and over, you’ll want them to be perfect.
We love our wedding photos, I still spend far to long flicking through each and every single one
(even though I’ve seen them a million times) 8 months after our wedding.
You can clearly see in every single photo how relaxed, happy and natural everyone felt.
It was such a beautiful day for so many reason, we were so lucky to have you capture it ALL.
We’ll always recommend you to any of our friends looking for a photographer.
Weddings are intimate and emotional, naturally brides and grooms develop a similar relationship with their photographer.
It’s the foundation of beautiful photos. The photos you caught of Dad and I are my last good memories of him.
‘In the moment’ you don’t always realize how beautiful and precious these photos are going to be.
I feel close to my Dad everytime I see them Deb, because they’re so beautiful and warming.
We’ll never be able to thank you enough.
You have a special place in our hearts Deb xxxxx” – Morgan & Craig
