I strive to deliver the best natural wedding photography that captures your wedding day story. You can trust my 8 years of experience as a full-time wedding photographer and the hundreds of weddings under my belt, to deliver quality images you will treasure for many years.
While I began my professional photography career in Brisbane back in 2010, in 2017 I moved back home to Sydney and where I am now a Sydney based wedding photographer. I still continue to service Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba in South East Queensland as well as Byron Bay & Northern NSW. But Ive also added the region between Sydney to Brisbane. That includes Sydney, Northern Beaches, Camden & Macarthur region, the Hawkesbury, NSW South Coast, Southern Highlands, Kangaroo Valley, Blue Mountains, NSW Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Valley. None of these areas attract any travel charges. If you live outside these areas, please get in touch as I love discovering new places.
Style & Approach To Wedding Photography
My style of wedding photography blends a natural, documentary approach with portraits that focus on capturing personality and emotion. The portraits are created with simple directions to keep the portraits as natural as possible! While capturing meaningful connections between the couple along with the relationships they have with their family and friends, plus all the little details!
We will work together to create a wedding day timeline that assists in creating a relaxed environment for you and your guests. This will include discussing locations and lighting, which all play an important role in how your images will look. As your photographer, I want to create the best wedding photos and precious memories for you.
The wedding day flies by so quickly and often the couple miss things that happen, but great photography will allow you to relive the moments over again, especially the parts of the day you missed.
Wedding Photography Coverage & Packages
Choose your hours of photography coverage depending how much of the wedding day you want covered. A good 50% or more of the work with digital wedding photography happens after the big day. I personally edit each and every image delivered to my couple. All wedding photography packages include print-quality digital files. Your collection of images will include all images edited in beautiful colour with a selection of photos in black & white. More information and pricing here
Printing Your Photos & Wedding Albums
Most couples these days think they are happy with just receiving the digital files of their wedding photos, but I want to share the below clips with you before you completely right off a wedding album. Just maybe you might think a little differently afterwards as to whether you should invest in an album. Plus let me tell you how to avoid getting the Shit Wedding Gift with a gift registry.
For those of you wanting an album but not sure you have room in the wedding budget, listen to this … I have partnered up with Album Registry, a wedding gift registry service whereby your family and friends can contribute to the purchase of your album. That means the cost of the album doesn’t come out of your pockets. Your family and friends already want to gift you something to celebrate your wedding, so rather than them wasting money on something you don’t need or want (ie. a shit gift), you are actually helping your family and friends contribute to a gift you will value for many years. Win Win right!
Do you imagine viewing your wedding memories like this …
You might think you will get around to designing your own album …
but most couples don’t get around too it, because soon enough life and kids happen …
God forbid if there was a fire, what would you grab if you had seconds to get out of the house?
It’s common to hear people say the family, pets … and the wedding album!
In my 8 year career I have seen CD and DVD drives disappear from our computers,
and Apple has already started removing USBs from their Mac computers.
What’s a USB good for anyway …
Let’s take a little look into the future of the USB …
Not convinced you should invest in a wedding album just yet?
What if you didn’t have to pay for it! Introducing Album Registry.
How does the wedding gift registry work?
Yes there is a video for that too …
If you would like more information on the wedding gift registry or add it to your wedding photography package, please get in touch.
For me personally, there is no better way than viewing photos in the printed format, so if you are considering getting a wedding album, you might like to check out my beautiful fine art albums [ click here ]. The wedding albums are handmade in Australia from the highest quality materials, ensuring your memories will last a lifetime, plus you are supporting the local Australian album manufacturing industry which Im sure gives good karma juju.
While I start the design the album so you aren’t overwhelmed with what to do with hundreds of photos, you absolutely have control over the photos that end up in the finished album. Plus the fun part, getting to choose from a range of materials and colours for the cover to personalise your album, plus we can customise the embossing on the front with your names or a beautiful love quote and there are even a few different colour foils we can use for the embossing. Seriously albums are not like what your grandma had … today’s albums are more like a contemporary art book. But don’t take my word for it, you have to see one to believe how beautiful these albums are … but head over to the wedding albums page [ click here ] to satisfy your curiosity.
