GABBINBAR COUNTRY GARDEN WEDDING TOOWOOMBA
Toowoomba wedding photography
Caitlin & Alex
Their were so many things that I loved about Caitlin & Alex’s Gabbinbar country garden wedding in Toowoomba last Friday.
Caitlin’s dress for one – a cute three quarter length wedding dress and pockets! Plus her shoes had glitter hearts on the toes and glitter heals !!!!
The flower arrangements were stunning. Dawn Osborne Florist created the beautiful wedding bouquets which included my favourite flowers, hydrangeas.
The bridesmaids dresses were a seriously gorgeous shade of green – my favourite colour of all time. You are on the blog of a girl that wore a green knitted poncho in primary school!
And if that is not enough, well it was a daytime wedding at the amazing Gabbinbar Homestead. I love daytime weddings because I can indulge in the natural light all day, and natural light makes for such pretty photos.
The ceremony was held in the Gabbinbar Conservatory – an amazing light filled room under a pitched glass roof. We had a spectacular sunny day but if it had rained, it would have been equally spectacular and everyone would have stayed dry, perfect for your wet weather wedding backup plan.
The wedding party was then moved into the gardens for mingling and canapés. Followed by a sit down reception in the garden gazebo – the first time Gabbinbar have catered an outdoor reception in the Pavilion.
Plus Caitlin & Alex’s wedding day fell on what would have been my parents wedding anniversary, sadly mum passed away a few years ago, with mum and I sharing a love of hydrangeas.
I know these two will share many anniversaries ahead of them.
Just a sneak peek for now with more wedding photos coming in the following weeks.
