Emma & Will
BUNDALEER RAINFOREST GARDENS WEDDING
Emma & Will were married recently at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens in Brookfield, Brisbane.
When I first meet up with Emma to discuss their wedding photography in cafe in Brisbane, she was the bubbly bride that was super excited about her wedding. Honestly I think it was more just being in love with Will and wanting to get the next part of their love story started. Her bubbly personality didn’t even waver when it rained after their ceremony.
Both Emma & Will got ready at The Milton Residences. Different rooms obviously on different floors so they didn’t accidentally run into each other before walking down the aisle. This is a great tip for other couples planning their wedding. Saving your photographer driving between different addresses for groom and bride prep, simply means more of your photography coverage dedicated to actually taking photos.
I hadn’t met Will before the wedding day, so we started with the usual banter on what the boys got up to last night. I recall telling Will that what he tells me is like talking to a lawyer or counsellor, in that what he tells me is in the strictest confidence … as we were talking about what time the boys got in last night … or that morning! haha …
The vibe over at the bride’s apartment was one of LOVE filling the room – even the balloons say so … lol
The couple got to say their I-do’s under sunshine – and just in the nick of time
as immediately after signing the certificate,
the rain came out of nowhere and had everyone running for cover of the marquee.
The ceremony was carried out by the lovely Jacinta Slater
The rain cleared while we were busy taking family photos in the marquee
so it was time to head out for the bridal party portraits.
Thankfully Emma & Will didn’t care about romping around in wet grass.
Emma & Will were keeping a secret from their guests. They were 3 months pregnant on their wedding day.
We took this sneaky photo and during the reception Emma & Will announced to the guests that Baby Spinks was onboard.
Time to get this party started.
